Project Online-Features and core differences with MS Project 2019
Hi,
We are currently using Microsoft Project 2019 and are in the process of upgrading to Microsoft Project Online. Can anyone provide me a link where I can see the features of MS Project Online or information on the core difference between 2019 and the Online version?

Project Online adds many features to your Project Management solution when compared to standalone Project Professional. Essentially moving to Project Online will give you a central database and web app for all of your project data. Enabling to you have people work in a consistent way (centralised custom fields, templates etc.) and easily report on the data that users have entered. When you say MS Project 2019, is this Project Desktop 2019 or Project Server 2019? Assuming it is Project Server 2019, the only real different in terms of specific Project features is reporting. In Project Online you have the OData Reporting API where as on-premises Project Server 2019 you have access to the SQL reporting schema in the database plus the OLAP cube.
