Project Online - saved location
Hi,
When I create a Teams, it basically creates a SharePoint site in the background.
Is the same concept applied when I create a Project Online, that creates a SharePoint in the background?
if yes,
How can I find the SharePoint site that is tied my Project? (I only have a link to the Project)
If no,
Is it possible to manually link the project online to a SharePoint site? and how can I find the site(s) where the Project Online is linked.
Hello anbanand ,
In Project Online, project sites (SharePoint sites) are only created automatically if you set the Enterprise Project Type (EPT) to do so like below:
To check this, as a PWA Administrator go to PWA Settings > Enterprise Project Types > Click on the EPT name to view / update the settings. Update the settings as needed.
If the EPT does allow sites to be created and it is not automatic, you can create a site manually as a PWA admin user from the PWA Settings > Connected SharePoint Sites menu option. Selecting a row / project on the grid will enable the Create Site button if there is no site for that project:If the project already as a site, you can see the link there also.
As an end user you can also access the project site (if the project has one) from the project details page in PWA as seen below:
I hope that helpsPaul
