Custom fields for subprojects

Hi,

 

I am using Microsoft® Project® Online Desktop Client MSO (Version 2309 Build 16.0.16827.20166) 64-bit. I have one master file which contains bunch of subprojects (one subproject for one building, since I work for construction company). I would like to store some custom data, which are specific for my field (e.g. GPS location of project, area in square meters, ...), in each subproject. Sadly, the project option in custom fields window is greyed out. Is there a way, how to have custom fileds for subprojects (not invidual tasks) in Microsoft Project Online Desktop Client?

    No, it is NOT possible to create custom Project fields using the Microsoft Project desktop application. That particular feature is only available if you are using Project Online, which is a true enterprise application. Sorry, but hope this helps.
