Copy a text field from Task table to a text field in the Resource table for all tasks

Question

I'm trying to get the Resource Usage View to display a text field that was filled on the Task View.

I tried importing the text from Task table into a custom field on the resource table but I got nothing.

I also tried writing a formula but couldn't determine how to qualify the text field with Task table so changes would happen in real time.

Can anyone help me with any method that can copy a text field between tables in MS Project Professional?
