Turning off Planner Notifications for everyone when a new Planner is created
Hello,
It seems that I accidently notified everyone in my Team when I create a premium Planner.
How can I turn this off so I only notify users when a task is assigned to them. I see the ability to turn off notifications in Settings> Planner Notification "Email me when someone adds me to a Premium plan or Portfolio" but I want to do this for everyone in my "Team"
I don't want to spam everyone when a new Planner is created.
Does anyone know where I can do this?

- clintdesmondCopper ContributorI have the same issue, and it appears that there isn't a way to prevent notifications to everyone in the group when a new plan is created. I now only create new plans within a group when I absolutely need to, and before I do, I send a message to the entire team letting them know a new plan is being created, with some detail of who will use it. This is messy, but it helps alleviate any annoyance that the group members have with receiving these notifications. Another option is to create a new Teams Group for the intended project team members.
- KaranvaghelaBrass ContributorHey Lisa Please follow this steps Go to Microsoft Planner: Open Planner via the web or Microsoft Teams. *Access Notification Settings: Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner. Select Notifications from the dropdown menu. *Enable Task Assignment Notifications: Check the box for “Send me an email when a task is assigned to me.” - ktipCopper ContributorYour response doesn't answer the original question. We can turn off our own notifications but would instead like to turn off notifications for other users until we are at a point where we would like to publish our plan. Can we set plans to be unpublished whilst we draft them, then publish the plan and notify everyone. Thanks
