New Planner UI - What problem is actually being resolved?

I have also just realised the new Task Chat now has a maximum character limit. I previously relied on the old comments section to paste and retain important details, often copied directly from emails, without needing extra files or documents.

Now I can no longer paste large amounts of text into Task Chat, and even the Notes section limit is too restrictive for real-world use.

This effectively forces users to create separate documents and attach them just to retain information that could previously be stored directly within the task itself. That adds unnecessary steps, wastes time, and makes the workflow far less efficient than before.

For many of us, the old comments section worked perfectly because it allowed quick capture of important context without creating additional files to manage.
