Stuck on Employment Verification with no indication of issue or how to fix
JillArmourMicrosoft - any updates? I am having the same issue, I've even entered my D-U-N-S number and VAT ID hoping it would help verify. I have opened support ID 2402080040003337. Thanks
Update: I just received an email "We’ve successfully verified your Partner Center profile MpnId xxxxxx information". When I sign in and access the Legal info page it still shows as rejected.
Update 2: I opened a support ticket (https://partner.microsoft.com/support/) and to my surprise, I got a fast response. I had to submit proof of domain ownership (domain registration/renewal invoice dated in the past 12 months), this was processed over the weekend and I am now verified and as able to buy a Partner Pack. Pleasantly surprised at the speed to resolution, would be even better if the portal was updated to allow us to submit through there.
Sysadv I'm so happy to hear you made it through the process. Thanks for updating your post and being part of the community!

FaazDataAI THANK YOU for sharing this for others. Congratulations and thank you for being part of the community. -jill
- FaazDataAIApr 02, 2024Copper ContributorFinally, our account was verified. It just takes time along with back and forth with via the Portal and support tickets.
The key learnings from this experience is
1- Be persistent and patient it take time if manual verification is required for us it took 2 weeks.
2- You might have to submit the same documentation again if requested. Like In my case, I resubmitted the same EIN and Company Articles of Organization 3 times and finally the same were approved.
3- Make sure your domain is not set to WHOIS Privacy mode. The company name and address should be visible in WHOIS. This was required although this process is forcing partners to expose there private data on public WHOIS servers.
4- Keep the support ticket open until resolved as well as post in the community here. - JillArmourMicrosoftApr 01, 2024

FaazDataAI I'm sorry I am not part of support or the verification team. I cannot verify your partner account. You have to follow the instructions they send you in response to your submitted documents. What response did they send you?

JillArmourMicrosoft we had submitted the support request it’s has been open since 03/20/2024. They keep asking to submit the same documents. I have attached official government documents from Secretary of State for company registration and EIN from IRS and the name/address exactly match the details on our partner profile page.
Here is the ticket number: 2403200040008388

JillArmourMicrosoft , We are still stuck on the employment verification even after providing all the documents and ensuring they are correct. What is our next course of action?

JillArmourMicrosoft This is getting a bit annoying Today, I got this message in the Partner Center,
Now if we scroll down a on the same page, you will see the correct TAX documents are already attached.
If we are using AI to do this process, then honestly it needs a lot of training. Can we have some human look into this and help us. I can DM you the MPN ID - FaazDataAIMar 25, 2024Copper Contributor
JillArmourMicrosoft My Company Information matches the exactly. It is the registrar information that is causing the issue. I think the system is rejecting because Godaddy uses 1api.net when we choose to enable privacy on the domain WHOIS information. Someone must be able to look into this manually and verify the information. I do not have an invoice from 1api.net because we bought the domain from Godaddy.
This is the message we get once we try to upload the invoice.

FaazDataAI Can you tell me more? Why did they state they rejected you? Maybe I can help you narrow it down. Is your registered partner name EXACTLY the same as what your domain paperwork states? I mean it has to be down to the dot and letter. That is where most partners get hung up.

JillArmourMicrosoft We are facing the same issue with Employment Verification, and the support team has not replied. The Domain Paperwork is uploaded with the FIX NOW Button.
