Silver Partner Incentives after September 30th?

Dear team,

One of our partners wants to renew his Silver Partner membership for one more year before September 30th. If he renews before this date, will he still receive incentives (rebate and coop) for another 12 months, or do the incentives stop after September 30th when Solutions Partner Designations will take over? I hope someone can clarify.

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi NisChristiansen,

As I understand it, you continue to receive incentives even if you renew the Legacy Benefits if you had gained the Legacy competencies:

      Dear Claudio,
I understand. However, the reseller can renew his Silver Partner membership in two days. If he renews, will he receive incentives for another 12 months? Or, will he only receive incentives till September 30th, 2023?

If I understand the question correctly, you can use product keys for one year from the day you redeem the keys on their respective cloud portals if you renew and have an ongoing membership enrollment active.

You can review the "Renew your Membership offers for Solutions Partner designations during the renewal window" document, or the Solutions Partner FAQs in Partner Center for more information.

To add,  Partner incentives will continue to accept legacy silver or gold benefit renewals in FY24. Partners should reference the FY24 guide on aka.ms/partnerincentives to review competency/designation requirements on each individual earning opportunity.
