Azure MCPP Subscription
Hello
When renewing partner benefits, an Azure subscription called MCPP Subscription appeared.
We're currently receiving information that this subscription has expired and will be deleted soon.
Should we worry about this? What's this subscription for, and should we do something about it?

I have a feeling it may just be the retirement of the old program (MCPP) as the new one is now named MAICPP (Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program). I will be looking to confirm this internally.

The "MCPP Subscription" you're seeing is part of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MCPP) benefits, correct JillArmourMicrosoft. It's automatically provisioned when partners renew their partner benefits or attain a Solutions Partner designation. This subscription typically includes Azure credits and internal-use rights intended for development, testing, demos, and internal workloads—not production environments.
If you're receiving notifications that the subscription is expiring and will be deleted, it's likely tied to the end of your current benefit term. These subscriptions are valid for one year and require renewal through Partner Center. If the renewal hasn't been completed or your designation has lapsed, the subscription enters an expiration phase and will eventually be deprovisioned.
You should first check whether you're actively using this subscription for any workloads. If so, it's important to migrate those resources to another active subscription to avoid disruption. You can review usage in the Azure portal and confirm your Partner Center status to ensure your benefits are properly renewed.
