Why can't I edit my contact information on myself?

I got into Office.com so I could edit the contact information I have there, changing my work phone number, which currently is wrong. So I searched for myself, found it and clicked the Edit link. And it immediately failed, over and over again, with the same error message:

OK, I give up, how do I edit a contact when I keep getting this error message?
