What is going on in there ?
Dear Microsoft support staff, i am furious and angry and i want an answer RIGHT NOWWWW
Every single day i'm receiving various phishing and scam emails regarding to Amazon Prime, Coin***, and i can go on forever and they appear directly to my main mailbox and not in the junk folder
Now i've been using outlook for more than 20 years and i never had such problems since 2 years ago, i wanna know what's going on and why Microsoft seems to do nothing about it π
And to be noted this email is also my XBOX account so i demand an answer right now π

Hi GlassICE,
I understand your frustration and anger at the number of phishing and scam emails you are receiving in your Outlook inbox.
There are a few things you can do to reduce the number of phishing and scam emails you receive:
- Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on all of your online accounts, including your Outlook account. This will add an extra layer of security to your accounts and make it more difficult for attackers to gain access to them.
- Be careful about what links you click on in emails. Phishing emails often contain links that will take you to fake websites that look like legitimate websites. If you are unsure whether a link is safe, do not click on it.
- Keep your computer's operating system and security software up to date. This will help to protect your computer from malware that can be used to steal your personal information.
- Report phishing and scam emails to Microsoft. This will help Microsoft to identify and block these emails in the future.
You can block phishing and scam emails in Outlook by following these steps:
- Open the phishing or scam email.
- Click the Junk-E-Mail button.
- Right click on the scam E-Mail.
- Choose an option from a Junk-E-Mail Menu.
Please click Mark as Best Response & Like if my post helped you to solve your issue.
This will help others to find the correct solution easily. It also closes the item.If the post was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Like.
- GlassICECopper ContributorI'm afraid i've been reporting phishing and junk emails for long and there seems to be a dead end cause more of em would show up, most of them are using Microsoft and Amazon servers so Outlook won't detect them as a junk email
They even retreived a gift card info that i had somehow and spent it on Amazon AWS
So, i'm afraid unless Microsoft won't do anything about it it's a dead end solution
The funny thing is i am not an Amazon or Coin*** customer at all the only thing i purchased from Amazon for past few years was some books from Audible and Kindle and beside that, i purchased nothing
And i'm not a crypto enthusiastic so i don't use neither Coinb*** or any other crypto services
Yet i receive tons of scams regarding to these, i don't know if this problem persists i'm afraid that i have to Switch to Google or a private email hosting company
