If the weather bar was showing in your Outlook calendar before but has suddenly stopped, here are a few additional steps you can try:

    1. Restart Outlook: Sometimes, restarting Outlook can resolve the issue. Close Outlook completely and then open it again.
    2. Disable and re-enable the weather bar: Go to File > Options > Calendar > Weather and uncheck the "Show weather on the calendar" checkbox. Then, check the box again and click OK.
    3. Check location settings: Ensure that the correct location settings are selected for the weather bar. Go to File > Options > Calendar > Weather and verify that the location settings are correct.
    4. Check Outlook add-ins: If you have any third-party add-ins installed in Outlook, try disabling them to see if they are interfering with the weather bar. Go to File > Options > Add-ins and disable any add-ins that are not essential.
    5. Create a new profile: If the above steps do not work, you may need to create a new Outlook profile. Go to the Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add to create a new profile, then configure your email account in the new profile and see if the weather bar works.

Note: The weather bar feature is only available on certain versions of Outlook. Check to see if your version of Outlook supports the weather bar.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have tried all these but the problem persists. The weather bar on the Outlook desktop (version 2304) just shows the location selected without showing any weather information. The weather feature on the Outlook web version is operating normally.

If you have already tried the previous troubleshooting steps and the weather bar in Outlook desktop (version 2304) is still not displaying any weather information while the web version is working fine, there are a few additional suggestions you can try:

        1. Check for updates: Ensure that you have the latest updates installed for Outlook. Go to File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now. If there are any available updates, install them and then restart Outlook.
        2. Clear Outlook cache: Clearing the cache in Outlook can sometimes resolve display issues. Go to File > Options > Advanced > Outlook Options > Clear Cache. Restart Outlook after clearing the cache.
        3. Repair Outlook installation: If the issue persists, you can try repairing your Outlook installation. Go to the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Microsoft Office > Change > Repair. Follow the on-screen instructions to repair the installation and then restart Outlook.
        4. Check your antivirus or firewall settings: Sometimes, antivirus or firewall settings can interfere with the functionality of certain features in Outlook. Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall and check if the weather bar starts displaying the information. If it does, you may need to adjust the settings or contact your antivirus/firewall provider for further assistance.
        5. Create a new Windows user profile: In some cases, issues with Outlook can be related to the user profile. Create a new Windows user profile and configure Outlook in that profile to see if the weather bar works correctly. If it does, it suggests that there might be some corruption or conflicts in your original user profile.
