Weather Bar stopped showing in Calendar
If the weather bar was showing in your Outlook calendar before but has suddenly stopped, here are a few additional steps you can try:
- Restart Outlook: Sometimes, restarting Outlook can resolve the issue. Close Outlook completely and then open it again.
- Disable and re-enable the weather bar: Go to File > Options > Calendar > Weather and uncheck the "Show weather on the calendar" checkbox. Then, check the box again and click OK.
- Check location settings: Ensure that the correct location settings are selected for the weather bar. Go to File > Options > Calendar > Weather and verify that the location settings are correct.
- Check Outlook add-ins: If you have any third-party add-ins installed in Outlook, try disabling them to see if they are interfering with the weather bar. Go to File > Options > Add-ins and disable any add-ins that are not essential.
- Create a new profile: If the above steps do not work, you may need to create a new Outlook profile. Go to the Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add to create a new profile, then configure your email account in the new profile and see if the weather bar works.
Note: The weather bar feature is only available on certain versions of Outlook. Check to see if your version of Outlook supports the weather bar.

If you have already tried the previous troubleshooting steps and the weather bar in Outlook desktop (version 2304) is still not displaying any weather information while the web version is working fine, there are a few additional suggestions you can try:
- Check for updates: Ensure that you have the latest updates installed for Outlook. Go to File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now. If there are any available updates, install them and then restart Outlook.
- Clear Outlook cache: Clearing the cache in Outlook can sometimes resolve display issues. Go to File > Options > Advanced > Outlook Options > Clear Cache. Restart Outlook after clearing the cache.
- Repair Outlook installation: If the issue persists, you can try repairing your Outlook installation. Go to the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Microsoft Office > Change > Repair. Follow the on-screen instructions to repair the installation and then restart Outlook.
- Check your antivirus or firewall settings: Sometimes, antivirus or firewall settings can interfere with the functionality of certain features in Outlook. Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall and check if the weather bar starts displaying the information. If it does, you may need to adjust the settings or contact your antivirus/firewall provider for further assistance.
- Create a new Windows user profile: In some cases, issues with Outlook can be related to the user profile. Create a new Windows user profile and configure Outlook in that profile to see if the weather bar works correctly. If it does, it suggests that there might be some corruption or conflicts in your original user profile.

Weather is no longer appearing in the Calendar in Outlook, even though the option is enabled. The only thing displayed is the location set in the weather configuration.
This issue started in the latest update to Office 2016 Pro where the Outlook now has the left side selection for Email, Calendar, Tasks,. etc when it used to be on the bottom left.
Hope this can be fixed, i enjoyed the service.
As for all the tips to resolve I did all of them except make a new Windows profile, not sure how much work it would be to fix migrating to a new profile.
Thanks

Here some more troubleshooting steps to try:
- Verify Weather Bar settings: Double-check that the weather option is enabled and the correct location is selected. To do this, go to the Calendar view, click on the "View" tab, and ensure that the "Weather Bar" option is checked. Also, click on the location displayed in the weather configuration to make sure it is set correctly.
- Update Office: Ensure that you have the latest updates installed for your version of Office 2016 Pro. Microsoft often releases patches and bug fixes that may resolve the issue you're facing.
- Repair Office installation: Use the built-in repair functionality of Office to fix any potential issues with the installation. To do this, go to the Control Panel, find the "Programs" or "Programs and Features" section, locate Microsoft Office 2016 Pro, and select the option to repair the installation.
- Clear Outlook cache: Sometimes, corrupted cache files can cause issues. Close Outlook, navigate to the Outlook cache folder (typically located in AppData), and delete its contents. When you reopen Outlook, it will rebuild the cache.
- Disable add-ins: Add-ins can sometimes interfere with the functionality of Outlook. Try disabling any third-party add-ins and restart Outlook to see if the weather display returns. If it does, you can enable the add-ins one by one to identify the culprit.
- Create a new Outlook profile: As you mentioned, creating a new Windows profile is an option you haven't tried. While migrating to a new profile can be a bit of work, it may resolve the issue if the problem is specific to your current profile. However, make sure to back up any necessary data before attempting this step.
- It could also be a bug which is currently under review (don't have any info on that) but ultimately I hope this possibility existed for this version and not that it worked on another PC.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
