Yes possibly. More than liking the hacker was hoping you would click on a link and give out your password. I think many people are getting these hacker calendar invites. I'm getting them on my MS and Gmail accounts now, I just delete them. They are obnoxious, once an event landed on my calendar and booked me out a week. I was wondering why clients said I was busy.

Thanks for your feedback.
In my case, the calendar invite hung when I tried to open it. Did not manage to open the calendar, as i decided to end-task to close the entire Outlook. So in my case, I did not open any URL or attachments.
But I did double-click on the calendar, which hung. Will that be a risk as well? For just opening the calendar?
