Subscribing to a web-based Task List in New Outlook

Hi Gordon, here is what I know: 

Is it possible to add a web-based Task list to the ToDo function in New Outlook 

--Yes, if you make a task in New Outlook, if you're using Exchange (biz or personal), it's in the web and on the phone, etc. 

rather like you can subscribe to a web-based Calendar?

--I don't think you can subscribe to tasks. If you need this, I believe you can set up a business 365 Teams channel and use Planner or another app to assign tasks to outside folks. I have never seen tasks be shared outside of an organization before, I might be wrong!
