Started to receive spam in my inbox

Have been using hotmail since 1997. A few years ago I had to tick the. Safe senders thing to stop junk going to my inbox.  

this worked for years. Now all of a sudden I have been getting junk email in my inbox. The safe senders is ticked in my settings. Have been blocking them but it doesn’t work. I didn’t change any settings. 

 

also have rules banning key words and they still get through. 

any thoughts?

    Please check the junk mail folder twice a week to detect false positives and create rules to avoid them in the future.
