Sports Calendar Incorrect Times Dates
Preamble:
I realize that anyone here is not an employee of MS. I appreciate your help, but please do not assume I'm an idiot. Please be assured that I have restarted, reinstalled, and updated all possibilities several times over before coming here. Please consider for one moment that this may be an issue with Microsoft and not the user before providing any response.
Issue:
I'm using a Dell PC running Windows 10. Regarding the Calendar App; When I add the LA Galaxy calendar, from the app's list of available calendars, the dates and times are incorrect. No one plays soccer at 2AM. And yes, the location setting is on for Calendar. And yes, the time zone for Outlook is correct. All other calendars that have been added show the correct time and date. This leads me to believe that this issue is with this particular calendar and that it's probably a bad setting or corrupt info on the server. However, I'm not an expert.
Please feel free to ask for any further information that I can provide, but again, please don't suggest the anything that's already been mentioned in the preamble. Also, please install the LA Galaxy calendar on your computer to see if your suggestion works before posting it here. Thank you in advance for your help.

- GraydogCopper ContributorI successfully downloaded the Seahawks game schedule manually with correct game times. When I had done so "automatically" it had previously given the wrong game times. Here is what I did.
1. I went to my team's website Seahawks.com and went to Schedule.
2. Then Add Calendar, and Add All Seahawks Games to your Calendar
3. Choose Connect to Calendar Provider of Choice (Manual). It copies the URL to memory.
4. Switch over to Outlook Calendar and Choose Add Calendar
5. Then Choose Subscribe From Web
6. On the line Paste the URL you copied in step 3.
7. In box "Calendar Name" type in the Team name or whatever you want.
8. if so desired, choose Color, Charm, blah blah blah and click IMPORT.
9. You will see a message below indicating that the calendar imported successfully.
10. Check your calendar for correct game time!
Hope these directions help people.
I tried it for other teams, but some team websites did not have a download/copy schedule function.

Graydog Thanks for this! It is the only solution I have seen for this problem. Thanks for sharing.

You are welcome. After playing a little more with it I see that Key to getting the correct schedule is To download an .ics file from the desired team. An .ics file is an Outlook Calendar file. Once you have that file copied then you can paste it into the Outlook calendar using the directions above. Good luck In getting a proper calendar. Note: I did write to the NFL to make them aware of the problem. They need to provide .ics files for all of the teams. Some sports teams have their own separate Web site while other teams seem to only have a presence under the NFL.com website. Cheers... And go Seahawks!

I have the same problem with the Portland Trailblazers schedule (7pm games showing up at 2am the next day). Interesting, the Portland Timbers schedule is fine.
- GraydogCopper ContributorHi Anita. You got me to take a second look and I was able to successfully download an accurate Seahawks schedule. But I tried it for the Trailblazers and could not find their site that enabled a schedule download. Please see my response to this thread that gives the steps I took to manually download the Seahawks schedule with correct times. Sorry I could not help you more with the Trailblazers but maybe my directions will give an idea. Cheers.

I did try the option you suggested. I also tried downloading a calendar from Stanza. It tells me it successfully downloaded but it never shows up on my calendar. Thanks for trying!
- GraydogCopper ContributorSame problem....
Oh, Microsoft of Seattle, our beloved Seahawks are not playing on Tuesday at 12:15 AM. They are playing hours before on the Monday night game! Screeech!- JeffreyStewartCopper Contributor
Graydog LMAO! ... So sad. MONTHS! This is a great example of corporation segmentented job failures. Lost is the cracks kind of stuff. Cases the peeps here cant really address because the person that can actually make the correction can't be reached in a reasonable time to see this, or they have employee problems like everyone else.

- GraydogCopper ContributorYes, and the Microsoft employees who might have an answer are not generating $$ by helping us. In the business world resources are allocated to $$-generating activities. Sad. So, full steam ahead educating myself one way or another. Cheers, Jeff!
- bskogman1Copper ContributorGoogle calendar has the same functionality now, gonna just add that calendar instead since Microsoft breaks stuff and then doesn't care to fix
- BoneyCopper ContributorAgree - except I thought by chiming in here, it might make the issue more noticable. Oh well, watching the game right now!!

Same problem here, last year worked fine. This is infuriating. Tried importing calendar from the actual sports website for the teams and they still show wrong Time. Hope someone finds a solution soon.
- ChadgetsboredCopper ContributorHey all - adding this as option. I just went to my fav team LA Rams and looked on their website and they had a game schedule export. Worked for me. So you can become a Ram fan……or perhaps your fav team has similar. Here is link to Rams page that had it for reference
https://www.therams.com/schedule/ - ChadgetsboredCopper ContributorAdd me to the list if someone figures out a way to fix that is different than Google workaround

These calendars are useless if they are always showing the incorrect times. Anyone know of any non-Microsoft alternatives?
- Clump875Copper ContributorAdd my name to the list showing that this is still occurring. Haven't seen a solution posted anywhere?
- PoerDevCopper ContributorSame issue here. I have two sports cals added (Cincinnati Reds & Cincinnati Bengals). Both are showing the game time as 3 hours after the actual game is set to start. No matter what time zone I'm in. This is from my work email in Microsoft 365. Shows incorrect time if I'm using the webclient, Outlook desktop client, or my IOS Outlook app.
