Saved attachments from Outlook for MAC can't be opened
We have the problem, that users save attachments from Outlook for MAC on the windows file server, and the saved files can't be opened from anyone, because there is no NTFS security on the files. If I proof the properties og the saved files, the security tab is empty, also no owner of the files ist declared. I can go to folder above and replace the permission entries with inheritable permission entries from the folder, but this should be done by itself by the saving process? How could I force it?

- DogCatMouseCopper ContributorOK, I have more information about the situation: The Apple computer writes the files with file names that are not allowed in Windows, e.g. a folder with a space at the end of the name. Then the Windows operating system and Windows apps such as Explorer can no longer process the file. The Total Commander's ability to process the files is remarkable. After processing by Windows (via NTFS) or Total Commander, the files are ready for normal use again.
