Save as option greyed out

The Save as option on the new Outlook and OWA has been greyed out for a few weeks now, meaning I can't save emails as .eml to include the attachments. Does anyone know why this is? It's getting very frustrating.

That option is greyed out on New Outlook for me as well. I've also found that I'm unable to drag and drop an email into Teams or OneNote.
Both were possible in Classic Outlook.

    • Hi skboothe,

I have a Business Standard and Personal Accounts. The Save As and Save Draft were working for me.

You cannot drag and drop to send an email to Teams or OneNote, but you can send it to these apps from the menus.

I did not see these options in the web version menu. I will report it to Microsoft.

Image 2: Select the Teams Icon from the Quick Actions when an email is opened.

Image 3: Select Apps from the Quick Actions, and both Teams and Send to OneNote are selections.
If you don't see OneNote, watch this video: https://youtu.be/aZYpAmMDnM4?si=fNsKTauVijae75Yg

Thanks for the tip on Teams. I will try that out.
The feature that is missing as noted by the original poster is the ability to Save as EML or MSG. They are both greyed out.
