Save As / Export Email (msg file) in OWA
In OWA, how do I export an email? In Outlook I just do a File -> Save As and I can export MSG file.
Use Case
I can then take that MSG file and attach it VSTS work items (or many other things).
No tricks, sorry, not possible to export via OWA.

if you only need one email, newer OWA versions let you download it as .EML. For .MSG, Outlook desktop or a dedicated converter is still the better option.

It is a very old thread but just to mention that I noticed today that saving a message in MSG format is now possible in Outlook.com and should be in the current flavor of OWA for professional environments. About how MSG format is richerr than EML format: I picked a message, saved i in both formats and just compared the size of saved files: 32,2 KB for EML and 142 KB for MSG. Both formats can be chosen from the Dowmload option in the ellipse menu of the opened message to save.
No idea when that MSG option was added.
It was added to new Outlook about a year ago, should have hit OWA around the same time. Almost every new feature in new Outlook is also in web as they share the same backend code.

Create a new message in a popup window. Drag the message that you want to save; to this new empty message. It will get attached as a msg file. You can then download it.

I am afraid that it is not possible.
Perhaps, VasilMichev knows the trick...

VasilMichev maybe it was not available before but now, by clicking on the ellipses (...) and choosing Download, will save the message in .eml format
