Rapid Access to New Item Alert Window
Hi! I have just created a rule that triggers when a very specific type of email arrives. The rule plays a sound, moves the item to a special folder, generates a desktop alert, and displays the New Item Alert window. The one snag is that sometimes that New Item Alert window ends up behind something else, or on a different Desktop (I use Task View to have multiple virtual desktops).
I am looking for a way to access the New Item Alert window as rapidly as possible. I know about ALT+Tab to navigate open windows, but if possible, I would like something even faster. If I could assign a key combination, or if there was a way to always force that window to the top of the active desktop, that would be ideal.
Any thoughts on how I could make access to the New Item Alert window pretty much as fast as possible?
Thanks for any help that you can provide!

- mtthomasm516Copper ContributorI might have found about the best solution that I can get. The first time for the day that the New Item Alert window gets displayed, I just move it to a location on my screen that is always visible, and leave it open. The rule will update that window automatically. The sound played by the rule alerts me, and I can rapidly switch to the window and open the new item. Short of having the rule open the item directly, I think that's the best that I can do.
