Quick Steps in Shared Mailboxes New Outlook

Hi all,

Shared Mailboxes can finally be added as a seperate account and I was hoping that quick steps will work as before in the classic outlook.

But that does not seem to be the case, anybody knows if it's even possible anymore in the new outlook or am I missing a toggle option?

  • In the new Outlook, Quick Steps don’t currently work with shared mailboxes, adn  even if they're added as separate accounts. This feature was available in classic Outlook, but it hasn’t been reintroduced yet in the new version.

Microsoft is still rolling out features, so it might come in a future update. for now, there is no toggle to enable it.

On the Outlook desktop → tap the Quick Steps drop-down menu → select Manage Quick Steps → make sure Show in shared mailboxes is checked, then log out and log back into the account → hold down Ctrl and right-click on the Outlook icon → select Reset Shared Mailbox Cache.

      Hi Rinspon
May I know which Outlook version you are using?

Because does not have the option to choose an account when configuring the quick steps.
I am using version 1.2025.527.300 (Production) and on the Targeted Release channel.
