Outlook not receiving emails after hack

Dear Microsoft Folks,

I have not received any Outlook emails since 1/30/2021 when my account was hacked by someone in Nigeria (probably not a Prince).  Looks like lots of Outlook users have the same problem based on my reading of the MS Community dialogues.  It seems something has been turned off or on.  A wide variety of solutions have been tried but nothing has worked so far.

I was using Outlook 2010 that is no longer supported.  Upgraded to Microsoft 365 still no improvement - still cannot receive.  But I do receive emails connected to my other email addresses with Gmail and ME.com.  That makes me scratch my head.

Have spent hours on the phone with Microsoft and Verizon technical support, (some taking over my computer) but to no avail.  My last MS expert told me that there was something wrong with my email address and to look at the MSN.COM website !

My question is: Can anyone recommend a Outlook expert who can heal my Outlook so I can again receive emails.

You know how debilitating it is to not be able to receive emails.  Would sincerely appreciate and advice or guidance.

Thanks,
Michael Duvall

Utwórz Nowe konto Microsoft i skonfiguruj nowego Outlook i zapomnij o problemach !
Utwórz 2 sposoby uwierzytelnienia Konta Microsoft i śpij spokojnie !
Tamtej poczty już nie naprawiaj !
  • What have you tried so far?

Are you using an MSN.com email address? If so, log into outlook.com with the address and check Outlook.com's settings: Settings (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings > Rules and also Forwarding for rules forwarding your mail and deleting it from your mailbox. Forwarding mail is a common spammer trick - it beats logging into every mailbox they hack.
