Outlook New - Huge RAM consumption -> freezing

Starting from ca 2 weeks now, Outlook new consume huge amounts of RAM which always end up with a warning notification to restart the client and/or Outlook freezing.

 

This has happened multiple times per day this week alone.

I tried by clearing the cache, but it was not making any difference.

 

You have Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.1002.100 (Production).

Client Version is 20240927008.18.

WebView2 Version is 129.0.2792.79.

    I will share my experience; it may help you or others.

    I encountered similar performance issues last week. I have a relatively new Dell computer. For me, it was a Dell's Bios issue.  I received an email from Dell stating that I should update the Bios drivers immediately. Since then, my performance has improved.
