outlook.live.com not showing external images in messages

My images have now returned after being "lost" for the last four or five days.
Whatever fix they implemented on the back-end appears to be lasting. Now if they could only implement a fix for the poor junk/spam filter to block senders with clearly spammy email addresses like "return@bend.rest.j2c4shtpnk.uk" the product would be much improved.
