Outlook for Windows is Getting Rebranded to "Outlook Classic"
Outlook for Windows is being rebranded to "Outlook Classic," which indicates that New Outlook is here to stay.
Starting in late July 2024, Outlook for Windows will be rebranded as "Outlook Classic" to differentiate it from the New Outlook email client. The new name will apply to version 2407 and above.
The support documentation will reflect this change, with the "New Outlook" tab taking precedence over the "Outlook Classic" tab. These updates will not impact the app's status or support, and no action is needed from administrators.
The rollout will begin in late July 2024 and be completed across different channels by January 2025.

As we move to the new Outlook experience, I hope the features that makes the Classic Outlook standout stays on the new app. Formatting, theme option for composing messages and access to save on PST is still missing and as we adopt to this - I hope Microsoft will make this available alongside the new app. Making this missing makes it harder, difficult for some to adapt.
