Outlook for Mac missing ToDo
Since a recent update, our Mac clients don't have any way to view ToDo or Tasks in the New Outlook. The tasks don't show in the My Day/Task pane, nor do we have a ToDo Icon ion the left sidebar like...
Re Microsoft ToDo for the Mac, it's designed to work only with "pure" M365 Exchange Online accounts. If your account is hosted in an Active Directory hybrid domain (on-prem syncing with Azure), it'll throw an error and point you to the Outlook Web Application, which includes the Tasks/To Do feature.
As of the end of April 2026 on the Microsoft Support site's Outlook for Mac features page, when expanding the App Framework section, "Tasks module (in-app)" still shows as "Upcoming". With any luck, that'll switch to "Available" in time for the classic Outlook for the Mac end of support in October 2026.
