Outlook for Mac - Version 16.99 (25071321) - No Address Book
Latest version of Outlook for Mac released, and I don't seem to be able to see my address book.
What was strange was I couldn't see any type ahead style emails, you know when it pre-populates based on conversations you've had with others in the past.
When I click the address book, nothing shows.
I reverted to legacy and can see the address book entries in there no issues and the type ahead works?
Version is:
Microsoft® Outlook for Mac
Version 16.99 (25071321)
Licence: Microsoft 365 Subscription, Copilot for Microsoft 365
This has only just happened with the latest update. Anyone else seeing the same?

I am having the same issue with this version. And mail get stuck when trying to send, Outlook crashes and on restart the mail stuck in outbox is gone and nothing in draft - this version is NOT good for my blood pressure :-)

I am experiencing the exact same thing. My version is the same as yours and this behavior only began after updating two days ago.

Hey BradH
I can confirm that. The migration to the latest version—or rather, the update—was an absolute disaster. Autocompletion stopped working, emails wouldn’t send anymore, and the timeouts on the Mac were so bad that I couldn’t even use it properly and had to restart it multiple times.
A colleague from the same department is experiencing exactly the same issues, so I assume this is a general problem, not an isolated case.
Honestly, I believe someone in testing didn’t do their job here.

Can confirm, updated today and observed the same, been trying to look for a solution. I switched back to Legacy and it works, this needs to be addressed by the team. Also person in email doesn't work.

In Outlook tap View→Address Book to enable it, or you can rebuild the user profile and it will be back to normal.

there is no Address book under view?

Actually we tried this and it doesn’t work. Completely new profile was still broken and we tried a few permutations of rolling back to 16.98 and then back to 16.99. It tried to show know addresses and then it just broke again.

I also tried to delete the plist file to no avail.

Likewise, also delayed sending and crashed on exit. Have reinstalled, rebuilt the Outlook Profile and reset Outlook preferences - need to disable add-ins next when i have time

I am having the same problem. Also, it constantly crashes. I have to use the web version, since after the 16.99 update the app is unusable.
