Outlook for Mac - Version 16.99 (25071321) - No Address Book
Latest version of Outlook for Mac released, and I don't seem to be able to see my address book.
What was strange was I couldn't see any type ahead style emails, you know when it pre-populates based on conversations you've had with others in the past.
When I click the address book, nothing shows.
I reverted to legacy and can see the address book entries in there no issues and the type ahead works?
Version is:
Microsoft® Outlook for Mac
Version 16.99 (25071321)
Licence: Microsoft 365 Subscription, Copilot for Microsoft 365
This has only just happened with the latest update. Anyone else seeing the same?

Testing 16.99.1 now. Good thing is they might have fixed the S/MIME issues that were also occurring with the solution. There is an issue with if you have clear txt disabled, body of email wasn't showing. Also, if there was a large body in the email, and signing or encryption was happening, also broken.
Address Book seems ok in 16.99.1 as is there doesn't seem to be a memory leak like there was before (haven't beach balled of death yet). More users testing now.

16.99.1 was released yesterday https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/release-notes-office-for-mac
The release notes don't really match the problems mentioned here. Has anyone been able to test it yet?

Same issues here.
No address book or autocomplete when typing email addresses. Can receive emails fine, but sent emails get stuck in outbox and app crashes.
Disastrous release.

Build 16.100 in the beta channel doesn't have this issue. So if people can't wait they can change to beta channel under advanced settings in the Microsoft Autoupdater (remember to deselect auto update).

Also having the same issue since I did the update. No suggestions when sending mail and very fast memory outage/leak (requiring >80GB RAM...). (Sending calender invites it still works with suggestions)
I played around with enabling and disabling the co-pilot and think that the co-pilot could be the root cause.
Still disabling and enabling did not solve the issue. :(microsoft Please fix - this makes Outlook unusable!

We are facing the same issue with Intune + Outlook.

We managed to roll back using JAMF + Self-Service+ however, this morning inside the app it's trying to again update.
Can everyone please put in a support ticket to MS about this who is affected. 16.99 is a poor release it would seem.- daniel5anCopper Contributor
