Outlook 2016 problem with IMAP

Hi,

This is my first post.

I have problem with several of my users.

 

Thy using outlook to connect to our mail server via IMAP, problem is that some emails not appears in outlook, but it appears in android or iphone, using the same method and IMAP server.

They notice this problem when they saw the email in android, but not in the outlook.

 

We tested, the same problem happen in 2013 and 2016.

 

Please advise, what to check.

I already googled, but found no answers.

    anybody else using outlook to access their imap server? any problems?

      Yes, I'm having trouble too. My emails disappear from the inbox each day. So far, this board has not provided any help. It seems that POP settings worked much better than IMAP.
