Outlook 2016 - Contacts and Calendars - Disappeared

Updates are current
length of use: this computer was new 4 years ago, Outlook exported and imported without issue

5 days ago, the user noticed that her contacts have disappeared, and her calendar is blank

all email is present as far as she can tell

I looked at her contacts and the only contacts on her computer (local computer) is checked

Safe mode doesn't change anything

Suggestions please?
