Outlook - cannot add Google G Suite account - javascript disabled?

I am trying to add Google G Suite account to Outlook. When I enter the  G Suite account email it shows the Google login screen.

Then I get a question by Google to choose "Organizational G Suite account" or "Individual Google Account".

I select "Organizational G Suite account" and then I get "Couldn’t sign you in" screen with this message:

"The browser you’re using doesn’t support JavaScript, or has JavaScript turned off.

To keep your Google Account secure, try signing in on a browser that has JavaScript turned on. Learn more

If you continue to have problems signing in, please contact your administrator."

If I click on "Learn more" I get an Internet Explorer 11 browser opened with the page. This makes me think that Outlook is opening the sign-in screen in IE 11 browser control and somehow Javascript is disabled.

I am using Outlook v. 2203 (16.0.15028.20178) on Windows 11.

Any ideas on how to fix this.

It was working for me for more than a year.  I don't have problem with other G Suite accounts where I am not asked to choose between "Organizational" and "Individual" account, but this account is important to me as it is my company account.

The same happens on a brand new laptop I installed with fresh Windows 11 / Outlook v. 2203  (16.0.15028.20178).

I would really appreciate any help.

I am havig exactly the same issue with my personal gsuite domain on my workstation which i finally got round to upgrading to Windows 11. Other personal imap accounts have mounted find but my gsuite account is failing with the "The browser that you're using doesn't support JavaScript, or has JavaScript turned off." error. I have checked internet settings, edge and chrome settings and javascript is ok to run so assuming its something linked to the outlook client configuation. the gsuite account is accessed via browser and windows mail client with no issues.

same issue encountered whether done via the wizard setup or trying to configure a imp / pop3 profile manually.

Have checked with my test public gmail account and it works fine.

Many thanks for posting your resolution. I appreciate that I only had to spend 10 minutes resolving this latest MS screw up on expensive software that we all pay for!

skiingscot    Same thing is happening to me.  This started last night.  I can add a regukat google account to my outlook 16 but not a gsuite account.  I did notice that there was a windows 11 update that was just installed.    Wonder if i remove that will it work again.
