Old Outlook work inbox not working in New Outlook for Mac

Has anyone found any solutions relating to switching from"Old" Outlook to "New" Outlook and their work emails don't cross over? Additionally, when adding a new account in the "New" Outlook, Exchange is not available. I mean, Exchange is a Microsoft product. I'm about done with this Microsoft on a Mac experiment. Too many glitches.
