New Outlook mailbox expanded/collapsed folders

I have several folders in my mailbox, keep them expanded for efficiency, but after restarting Outlook, they are collapsed, forcing me to expand them again!

Is there a setting to force Outlook to keep them as they were before closing app?

    Hi JMerck​,

    I tried a couple of scenarios: Here are my learnings.

    Left Folder Pane: It remembered my settings and shut down.
    Message Pane: Based on your sorting criteria, the Headers for pinned or date are continuously expanded.

    Just to better understand your workflow — do you prefer keeping folders expanded so it’s easier to manually move or drag emails into the right places?

    I know that can be quite time-consuming if Outlook collapses them after every restart.
