New Outlook for Windows
Will the "New Outlook for Windows (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/outlook/outlook-for-windows)" replace Desktop Outlook that is part of the Office Suite and several Office Personal and Business Subscriptions, or is it only replacing the Mail and Calendar App along with the People App that come pre-installed on Windows 10. My understanding is "New Outlook for Windows" is scheduled to become the default, and possibly only, Windows Mail App by Microsoft starting at the end December of 2024?

Eventually, maybe in about 10 years. I'm sure Microsoft would like to replace it sooner, but I don't see that happening.
For now, it is just replacing the Windows Mail & Calendar app. The Mail & calendar app will be deprecated and removed from the store by the end of next year.
