New Outlook error: Cannot destructure property 'flexPaneID' of 'p[e]' as it is undefined.

I'm curious if anyone has encountered this error message in Outlook. I activated the web-content plugin search in Microsoft Outlook, but it only affected Outlook for the web and the new version of Outlook. For the time being, I can only use the classic version of Outlook.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. It started late on Aug. 2 for me. I didn't add any plugins.

Access the calendar app from the portal.

then it will open Outlook Calendar, from there you can access your mail.

    This workaround works for me.

This worked for me. I was able to open mail after going to Calendar. Any idea on how to do this in New Outlook?

It only works for the Outlook for Web. The desktop version of new outlook does not work, even if you try to click on the set an appointment/meeting.

I first noticed this late in the evening on August 4, 2024. It continues to be an issue this morning. Starting up Outlook in safe mode is my current workaround.

Same issue over here since today. So even the Outlook webportal has got the same message, as does the desktop application (new one) have.

My work around is to start Outlook in safe mode (will open the Classic version):

    Start Outlook in safe mode

Press the Windows key + R to open the Windows Run dialog. (It will likely appear near the lower left of your screen.)

In the Open box, type Outlook /safe, then choose OK.
