Migrate Thunderbird to Outlook

Hi, i want to migrate from Thunderbird email client to Outlook email client. But i have many local folders in Thunderbird email client. How these folders can move to Outlook mail client? My email account in Thunderbird is accessed with IMAP. Also there are many archive folders in Thunderbird client. Can you send me how guide or something?

    John_Bloggs85Hi, I see what's wrong. The best way to move Thunderbird emails to Outlook is to use this method. With the BLR Tools MBOX Converter software, you can move the Mbox local folder to Outlook. There you just need to download this software. "Start tool", select files, and then choose the format that you want to save. This is an easy solution for every user. Get the free trial edition.

    You will have to setup each email account in Outlook.
    As IMAP it should show all the folders in the IMAP email account.
    HOWEVER,
    Some email facility suppliers have a process of "Attaching labels" to the email - so all are actually in the inbox.
    Others (Like Outlook) actually manage the emails in separate folders.

    When you setup another POP3 email-id in outlook, you can associate with any of those already setup, so the messages all go to the same inbox.

    You may want to have a POP3 setup for an email id so you can copy emails from the IMAP ones into folders that are held in .pst files on your Windows device, I set the download/read to leave downloaded messages on the server, and just download new messages, adding them to the inbox.
    Those are retained with what gets downloaded as POP3 or you copy/move into them.
    ( maybe setup a file for the inbox, outbox, junk, Sent, + any you still have to take action on.
    and another file for messages that you want to keep as archive, or history - such as from a bank.)
    IMAP go into an .ost file and that is one per email id, with them being synchronised at outlook setup.

    Seems that sets the Default id for created messages to the one at the top of the list of accounts rather than allowing you to click on any in the list.-
    and you may want to keep RSS feeds on Thunderbird until you get them working in outlook.
    You can set the email messages to be forwarded to other accounts, but sent messages will not be forwarded unless you get them also sent to the other email id.
    Hopefully someone else will respond with some more detail, or caveats,
    I am posting from the viewpoint of having the POP3 email I used and managed in Outlook having to be replaced by a new one and starting to use Thunderbird for that and RSS feeds.
