Malware-Email
I have been having an issue with emails sent to me from malicious people. They aren't what I would consider phishing because their intents seems to be to cause havoc in my inbox. It doesn't matter if I block or delete them because as soon as I select it whether right or left click it does what it was programed to do. It will either begin deleting all emails in the box or certain functions of the email program stop working. The only thing I have been able to do that seems to help is reset my browser. I have reported many of these emails for phishing in hopes that Microsoft would come up with some sort of block or prevention for their devious intentions but anymore I just block the sender. The sender may have an innocuous name at 1st glance but when the mouse pointer hoovers a name that generally is filled with letters & numbers appears. (Thanks for having the hover capability). I wanted to make someone aware of this because something needs to be done to prevent these malicious emails from getting to my inbox.
Thank you,
Linda

Hi, I'm guessing you're writing about a program installed on your computer?
Please check if this behavior will be eliminated after installing the latest version of Outlook Online:

I always open up a browser then go to mail.live.com to view my email in outlook. The app that windows uses for the pc has caused me issues in the past so I'm not real inclined to use it.
I think it needs to be a two fold resolution. I think browsers (and it doesn't seem to matter whether it is Edge, FireFox or CCleaner - they all use chrome) need to address security vulnerabilities & I think the email program that I access via online needs to as well. Personally, I'm not a programmer so I don't know how. I suppose I could try to find a browser that doesn't use Google Chrome for a base and see if that makes a difference.

I do not trust this program: CCleaner - try to uninstall it and restart your computer,
