Malware-Email
Deleted
I always open up a browser then go to mail.live.com to view my email in outlook. The app that windows uses for the pc has caused me issues in the past so I'm not real inclined to use it.
I think it needs to be a two fold resolution. I think browsers (and it doesn't seem to matter whether it is Edge, FireFox or CCleaner - they all use chrome) need to address security vulnerabilities & I think the email program that I access via online needs to as well. Personally, I'm not a programmer so I don't know how. I suppose I could try to find a browser that doesn't use Google Chrome for a base and see if that makes a difference.
I do not trust this program: CCleaner - try to uninstall it and restart your computer,

DeletedCcleaner isn't the issue. Never has been. The issue is due to people sending malware-email to my inbox. Ccleaner on the other hand is a program that has never caused such an issue in the many, many years I have used it. But I wasn't speaking of Ccleaner the program I was speaking of Ccleaner WebBrowser. The issue didn't start with it either. A better response is to fix the vulnerabilities that allow the malware email to enter the inbox in the first place and not bash a program because you don't like it. The issue started with Edge Web Browser so I actually uninstalled it but that didn't fix the problem. I downloaded Firefox because I thought perhaps they would have better security. What you are basically telling me is that Microsoft has no intention of fixing vulnerabilities that allow such malware through and that I probably should find a different email carrier. I don't want to because I have used this email for many, many years.
