Mail & Calendar Apps Will Be Replaced with New Outlook for Windows December 2024
Windows mail was amazing, this forced outlook is trash. Thanks so much for FORCING me to stop using something that was perfect for years for this outlook trash that is generally reviled. Used it and repaired it for 10 years, wont touch this hot garbage with a rad suit and a geiger counter, it's nuclear awful, and further proof positive validation your internal echo chamber is ignorant to the average end user wants and needs.

Who made the decision that Outlook was so imperfect that deconstructing what has been in place for years, what has been one of the best options for email transmissions, etc. for decades, which was functional and offered many benefits (unlike Gmail and other providers), that it was safe when the security was applied properly, which millions of persons used to conduct business because of its ability to do much more that just give you mail. I will not understand why this easy to use, intelligent source of technology is being withdrawn and something so poorly created, so lacking in functionality - which impacts how a business email can be created - is being put in its place. WHY? WHY? This has to be the dumbest corporate decision a company has ever made: to take down a superior product to make it more like the inferior ones. The majority of us who have used Outlook for literally decades despise this insidious technological setback. Since Microsoft has a monopoly on everything Windows and word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets/workbooks -- and which will be dropping Publisher in a year - what has gone so haywire at the top caste that makes it impossible for them to see what harm they are doing to the product. I guess when the subscriptions start dropping by the thousands he or she may get the message.
