I have been able to open both the current version and the new version of Outlook at the same time. When I viewed the new Outlook I saved the link to the task bar. Then I switched back to the original Outlook. With the link for both versions of Outlook on the taskbar I can open both versions at the same time. I did it to see what some of the smaller changes entailed.

I was able to archive all of my Tasks data by exporting them to a .CSV file. At some point it may truncate the notes field, but I have a task with 1,093 characters and it exported all of the field.
