Links in emails open 2 (or 3) Tabs of the same webpage

Using New Outlook (Begrudgingly and not enjoying it)

As of this morning, every link in an email opens at least 2 Tabs of the same page (and 1 opened 3 Tabs)

Annoying at the moment, but things get messy very quickly.

So far only 2 other users have mentioned it, but they all started today.

    We have a user here that is having the same issue that just started today.

    OS: Windows 11

    Outlook: New

    Default Browser: Edge

      I have the same issue after installing Windows 11 Home on December 31, 2024. It is version 24H2. Outlook on the web works normally. I still haven't found a solution to this. I've tried changing the default browser to Edge to keep Windows happy, but there's no change in Outlook's behavior.
