Had the same issue before, sometimes Outlook doesn’t fully sync the folder names even after the /resetfoldernames command. Try removing the account completely, then re-add it after making sure Windows and Office display languages are both set to French. Once it syncs fresh, the folders should all show as Boîte de réception etc.

  • Since both default names already exist, using /resetfoldernames may not give the expected results. Try using /resetfolders instead.

Another way to go would be to rename the non-default folder and then use /resetfoldernames
Make sure that when you perform this, your Office UI language is set to the language that you want to use for your folders.

Yet another way to go would be to rename the folders via Outlook on the Web.
