I am unable to delete an event from Outlook

Per https://community.spiceworks.com/t/outlook-calendar-keeps-coming-back-after-deletion/961999/7?u=rokejulianlockhart, I'm unable to delete a calendar event, for it re-appears upon:

window.reload()

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvcOVLD5RDc depicts what I see, but I've also attached an H265 MPEG-4 file in case that's ever unavailable.

    Hi,

    a customer had the same issue. Suddenly it wasn't possible to delete an calender event, add an calender event with attachment or open the attachment.

    I was able to recreate the problem with a new testuser:

    • Outlook.com via Browser = didn't work
    • Outlook new = didn't work

    Workaround: i used Outlook Classic and that worked.

    Fun Fact: the displayed permissions in Outlook Classic of the calendar differ from the permissions in the Exchange Online Admin Center.

    I think thats a problem for Microsoft. I already opened a servcie request for that.

      Via what method did you open a service request (I've solely ever utilised the Partner Centre), and are you willing to provide your ticket ID to me so that our requests can be correlated?

        Hi,
        i dit it with M365 Admin Center of the customer.  Sorry, but i can't provide the ticket ID from our customer. BR

  • Switch to the list view to delete, or check the shared calendar permissions , both methods can solve the problem.

      Why would the list view differ to the alternatives, and what should I verify when observing the calendar permissions?
