Hotmail account blocked and can't recover
Hello,
I have been trying to regain access to an old account that has my Hotmail email as the address on file. But none of the support emails were delivered to my Outlook email which is where I have always received my @hotmail.com emails after the change way back when.
It seems that my account has been blocked due to too many failed login attempts, but I haven't directly logged into that account in years.
I tried to do the account recovery but it says that information I provided was not sufficient enough. I mean I am putting contacts and email subjects directly from my Outlook sent folder from back when emails where being sent from my Hotmail email.
I tried calling Microsoft but once the automated system realized that I was looking for sign-in support, my number seems to be flagged and whenever I call back it gives me a canned response and hangs up.
I need to talk to a real person that will help me recover my Hotmail account so that I can then recover the other account I can't access.

My problem is that my daughter is trying to recover access to her hotmail.com account as she was logged out by the latest update on her iPhone and since we were traveling at the time in Italy (normally based in Australia), I believe that her account requested an additional level of verification and an email to be sent through to her recovery email address which is my hotmail.com account.
But I never received any of the multiple verification emails that we have tried to send to my account to unlock/access her account.
I access my account using the MS Authenticator App on my iPhone and have my mobile phone number as an authenticated method for accessing my account, but I have no idea why I am not receiving these verification code emails and there is no way to speak/chat to a human to resolve this issue.Microsoft can someone please either call or email me to assist me in resolving this issue.

Nathan HardingThis has been happening to my Hotmail account 5-6 days. Each time I log in to microsoft hotmail it states my account is blocked by too many attempts and I need to send a form to recover my account. I have not tried too many times. When it states that I have logged in once. I have done that twice, with negative assistance. I have been on 2 online chats with support but everything they tell me to do does not work or resolve the issue. I have had to change my password over 10 times to access my Hotmail account. Microsoft support has not resolved anything and I am stuck in their circle of repeat, redo, and never resolve. The online chats support person did not seem to grasp the issue, or understand what was occuring. They even told me to create a new account ...that does not give me access to my Microsoft account I have had for over 20+ years and everyone knows to contact me on. PLEASE MICROSOFT FIX THE ISSUE!!!!! IT CANNOT BE FIXED BY ME OR ALL THE TROUBLESHOOTING LNKS
This sounds like my issue. Did they ever get back to you?
- I m so sorry for you . The same for me. And now my security on my car is not working because i cannot sing in in my account from microsoft. I am so desperate and i m getting sick because of all that , all thr stress. All of my account are blocked because of that.
