E-mail rule to delete spam does not work
- Sep 25, 2023
Hi abroes ,
Thank you for your response.
Next check if rules really been triggered. For example create a test rule to delete email from just specific sender to see if it works(Note: does this InPrivate/incognito windows). And , if you are very sure of the domain are send junk email you can use Junk > Block sender/domain.Also, if you have Outlook desktop app, use to to create a new rule and see if issue still persist.
I look forward to you next response.

Hi abroes,
Trust you having a nice day.
Open the rule you have created and check Run rule now
Also, checking Stop processing more rules implies subsequent rules will be ignored, even if they apply to the message.

Eniola_Alabetutu thanks, I'm doing good. I hope you are as well.
Unfortunately, when I run the rule there, it doesn't do anything either. I also want it to stop processing rules since I just want the messages to be deleted.

Regards,- abroesSep 26, 2023Copper ContributorUnfortunately I've found that Outlook doesn't seem to apply rules to junk mail, only to e-mails that end up in the Inbox after they've already been filtered by Outlook's built-in spam filters. So, it looks blocking is the only solution there.
Thank you for your input!
