distribution group and M365 group

Hi,

 

How can I find if a group is a distribution list or a M365 group though Outlook address book?

    Hi SarahSarah ,

     

    From my experience, It depends where you are looking.

     

    If you are looking from Microsoft Outlook desktop application, you have two options. Like Victor_Ivanidze mentioned, looking at the icons. 

     

    if you are using webmail, they both have icons, initials. the way you can figure out if you go to Contacts.
