I suggest sticking with classic Outlook if you need Search Folders today. New Outlook doesn’t support them yet.
I studied and found the new update (NOV25 GA) is under release anytime soon, and should have a folder search option. I am also waiting for this update - let us hope it is a solution to make life easier
