Custom Fields in Outlook

I am trying to figure out how to create custom fields in Outlook's Contacts so that when I import a csv file it links the custom fields I have in the csv to the correct custom fields in Outlook. I have tried multiple times to create these fields, however, when I go to map the csv, those fields aren't showing up on Outlook's side.
