Contact groups
have created a new contact group (distribution list) that i want to add emails to.
however there is no link to Add members??

Would you please provide which version of Outlook you are using and a screenshot?

i'm using Outlook in Microsoft 365. what screen shot do you want?
Providing a screenshot and recreating your steps where the Add Members list appears will be most helpful in assisting you.
